About Us
Who We Are
Pure Drive Physio & Performance was founded to help you achieve peak health and performance, on and off the golf course. Our goal is to help you strive for greatness in every aspect of your life by improving your fitness, nutrition, recovery, and mindset. We believe that by continually improving these aspects of your life, you will see massive changes in yourself on the course, at work, and at home.
Our Beliefs
We believe in striving for greatness in everything that we do. We’re focused on the end-goal, but we also realize that there is no true destination, as we can always strive to be better than the day before. Objective data is what helps us make sure that we’re on the right track throughout our process. In the process, we understand that there will be setbacks and mistakes. But we take ownership of those mistakes and failures and use them to learn and help push ourselves forward. The process to greatness is a grind and is hard at times, but we make sure that we have fun along the way and remember those who have helped us get to where we are now.
Our Team

I’m Joe, and I’m the owner and founder of Pure Drive Physio & Performance. I’m a physical therapist and strength coach who specializes in working with golfers, but will work with anyone who is determined to reach their goals.
I started Pure Drive Physio & Performance because I’m passionate about two things. Golf and helping people get the most out of their body. I decided to combine the two because I’m passionate about optimizing people’s health so that they can do all the things that they want to do, whether that’s on or off the golf course.
I want to bring the best of health and golf fitness to the Portland, Maine area and the rest of the world. I work with golfers of all kinds. It doesn’t matter if you’re young, old, a beginner, or a touring pro, I’m going to make sure you get the best out of your body so you can be the best on and off the course.

Client Testimonials
I was suffering from chronic shoulder pain and stiffness for months. After trying to manage the symptoms with pain gels and medication, I reached out to Joe online. First, I was given the most likely cause of my problem. Then he gave me concise instruction on exercises to address the issues. As a result, I am pain free, have full shoulder mobility, and am playing the best golf I ever have.

I’ve had 3 surgeries and lots of experience with physical therapists. He really made me feel like he cared about my recovery and my overall health. Equally important, he was readily available to answer any questions I had. After working with Joe, I’ve been able to get back to full activity! I don’t have any limitations. My confidence in my knee is back and I’m working out 5 times/week again!

Client
I tore my ACL in my senior year of college playing on the varsity team and saw Joe for rehab throughout different stages of the process. Being active is a huge part of my lifestyle, so returning to 100% to be able to play sports was very important to me. Joe was great because he immediately recognized my athletic experience which helped him tailor the sessions and exercises to my athletic level. I was immediately comfortable and confident working with him which made the ACL recovery process less stressful.
